       I regret to inform you that Ken Wiggins died yesterday after falling ill late last week. Ken was one of the stalwarts of Indian numismatics collection and studying the coins at a time when few other people were interested in the series. He was a founder member of the ONS, serving as its UK secretary for many years. Together with Jan Lingen he produced a book on the coins of the Scindias and with KK Maheshwari, a book on the coins of the Marathas. He also wrote many articles. He will be badly missed.
