There will be an Indian Coin Study Day on the above date at the Coin and Medal Department of the British Museum, from 11.00-16.00.
The subject will be Indian Numismatics and Religion.
So far the following talks have been announced:
Shailendra Bhandare: The representation of a river goddess on ancient Indian coins
Marzbeen Toddywalla: Zoroastrianism and representation of gods on Kushan coins
Joe Cribb: Unorthodox Muslim cons from mediaeval Sind
