The annual 2011 meeting in the Netherlands
Saturday 15 October 2011
Geldmuseum, Leidseweg 90, Utrecht
We hope to welcome in Utrecht as many members as in previous years in previous years.
Please inform us, at the latest before the 12th of October 2011 whether you are planning to attend the meeting and also if you intend to stay with us for diner.
On Saturday October 15th 2011, the annual ONS-meeting in the Netherlands will be held at the premises of the |
Geldmuseum, Leidseweg 90, Utrecht.
The collection of the Oriental coins of the former Ethnological Museum, Rotterdam - now known as World-museum - is in the process of being incorporated in the collection of the Money-museum. Most of the presentations therefore will be focussed on this newly acquired collection of Oriental coins.
As previous years, we propose to end the day with a diner in an oriental atmosphere and we have opted for the nearby Chinese restaurant "De Gouden Kom". We hope that again many people will attend the ONS-meeting and stimulate the mutual contact among the members.
Note: As we are charged for the extra security during the morning session, when the museum is still closed, an attendance fee of € 7.50 will be requested for.
The tentative program will be:
